Wind and Weather Conditions
Always warm in Tobago, between 25-30°C, both air and water. No wetsuit needed. Recommended wind for kitesurfing is wind coming from N and NNE . There is Trade wind at Tobago / Pigeon Point, Trinidad and Tobago. Most wind between December and March. Max approx. 25-30 knots, normally 15-25 knots when there is wind. North is stable, east very gusty. This spot can be difficult for beginners as the beach normally is crowded, and the wind blows offshore, but this is no problem if you can go upwind (there are people that will pick you up with a boat if you get problems). Wind usually blows from N, NNE and E on the spot. The best moments to come to Tobago / Pigeon Point, Trinidad and Tobago are January, February, March, April and December .
Beach and Tide Conditions
Tobago / Pigeon Point, Trinidad and Tobago is a Shallow, Chop and Medium waves spot. The launching/landing area is reported to be of Small size. Beautiful paradise white beach. Entrance fee (3 USD). Nice and flat water, beautiful and colorful when the sun shines. There are several different wave spots about 1 km offshore, and sometimes perfect waves. Corals and sand on the bottom.
